Wedding Photography Icon Monte Zucker passed away recently. I’m glad I attended to see him lecture in person in Southfield. He looked very lively. It’s so sad to see such a famous wedding photographer die. He definately was a great guy and definately had some spectacular photos. His emphasis was primarily very controlled lighting situations at weddings. He was one of the great innovators of wedding photography back in the day of more traditional wedding photography.
Many wedding photographers today are inspired or used a lot of his ideas and have put them into use today. He was a man with a very great heart as well and his contributions to wedding photography was very significant.

I’m excited. I’m going to WPPI in las vegas, NV in two weeks. WPPI is an event in where thousands of wedding photographers gather together to listen to Master Photographers to learn the latest cutting edge techniques. Other invents include the champagne shootout where you watch master photographers in action as well as the trade show which has a list of hundreds of photography vendors offering sales of photography equipment.
Check out the webpage if you’re curious: www.wppionline.com.
Other news include. Ehren Moler is possibly moving to California. This means we might expand our photography to another city. More to come soon. I can’t wait for the 2007 wedding season to start. It should be a great season for sure!
Last wedding season was a plethora of fun!
